On September, 24th 2005 I came to the Discipleship-Training-School (DTS) of YWAM (Youth With A Mission) in Herrnhut. The first two main goals of the school are "To know God" and "To make Him known". Each week there is another Speaker talking about different subjects. (You can listen to parts of the teaching under Downloads)

I was amazed, when I got to know new sides of God and the bible. God has revealed to me His father heart and He has shown me His indescribable love. I recommend this school to everybody that is searching for a closer relationship with God.

At the end of the DTS I was in Israel for 3 months to tell the Jews about their messiah.

Right after that I attended another school: Strategic Mission.
Missionaries brought a lot of damage in the past. I want to learn how to bring Jesus to the people in the right way. Without stealing their culture and force ours on them.

From January to March 2007 I went on Outreach for this school. In South Africa I could bring all the things I learned into action (click here to see my Outreach report!)

Since August 2007 I was staff at YWAM Eutin. There, I mainly worked in the DTS. That way I could be really close again to young people that made huge steps towards God and I could instigate and encourage them.

And what comes next?

Since the 6^th of September I'm married. Since the middle of October we are not working for YWAM anymore. Now we are surching together for the way that God prepared for us. Because of that we moved to Dunjas hometown in Switzerland in the beginning of 2009.

What is YWAM?

Youth With A Mission is an international movement of Christians from many denominations dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world. Also known as YWAM (pronounced "WHY-wam"), our calling is to know God and to make Him known. Back when we began in 1960, our main focus was to get youth into short-term mission work and to give them opportunities to reach out in Jesus' name. Today, we still focus on youth, and we also involve people of almost every age (even many people who choose to spend their "retirement" in active service). Our many ministries fit into three main categories: evangelism, training and mercy ministry. We are currently operating in more than 1000 locations in over 180 countries, with a staff of about 12,000 plus 30,000 involved in short-term-projects. (www.ywam.org / www.jmem.de)
